Monk Life Project- The 30 days Self-Transformation Program.
“Finding the real purpose of life & discovering your true self.”
This 30-day ordination programme will equip you with a comprehensive foundation for living the life of a monk and improving your meditation practice. The training will take place at the International Forest Monastery (iMonastery), designed as a true refuge for international men seeking peace and tranquillity walking the path of Dhamma. Qualified individuals will also be eligible for a special extended meditation retreat with other international monks for 30 days or more after completing the initial programme.
The Monk Life Project
Monk Life Project training takes you on a journey both inside and out. As the environment significantly impacts a monk, three locations have been specifically chosen for their benefits. These range from the classic temple ground with its elegant architecture and graceful landscapes to the forest monastery (i monastery) filled with the serene sounds of nature. Each place is suited for a specific phase of the training.
Ordination: The Path to Healing
‘Hard is to be born into human life. Hard it is to be free of anxiety and worry. Hard it is to open ourselves to Dhamma. Hard it is for the Buddha to come to existence.’ The Buddha said this 2,500 years ago, and it is just as true today, explains Venerable Narongchai. Depression, he underlines, is a leading global disability. “Schools can teach you to be successful, but how many teach you to live a good life free of worry? The nature of life is Dukha, and Ordination is a way to heal that dukkha – to have access to Buddha’s teachings, follow in his footsteps, and live a good life.” Thanajayo bhikkhu invites spiritual seekers to get ordained and go on a journey of healing at iMonastery in Chiang Mai.
