He was a young, successful engineer in the field of technology who lived and worked in the USA for nearly 10 years. His final position before ordaining as a Buddhist monk was as a project counselor for the Office of Science and Technology at the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, Belgium. He was ordained in 2007 and has remained a monk ever since.

For over a decade, he has served as the Chief of the International Ordination and Training Program, helping thousands of men transform themselves into better individuals. The program provides a unique opportunity for spiritual seekers from around the world to experience monastic life and deepen their meditation practice. He currently serves as the abbot of the International Forest Monastery (i-monastery) in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He holds an M.A. in Religion and Development and a Ph.D. in Peace Studies. His vision-’Make the world a better place through the attainment of inner peace by individuals' - embodies the synthesis of ancient Buddhist wisdom with contemporary global needs.
